We have our Summer Reading Challenge Bookmark Winners for 2022!
This year’s Summer Reading Challenge ended on February 14th. Libraries across the district received beautiful entries for the bookmark design competition. Children submitted bookmark designs based on this year’s theme, What aroha means to you, and boy, they did not let us down!
Beautiful and heartfelt designs awed the librarians bringing smiles to our faces. Luckily the winning designs are chosen by lucky dip because it would have been too hard to choose.
This year’s bookmarks were designed by Elijah age 5, Lily age 7, Ezra age 7, George age 8, Rina age 9, and Ruby age 11.
Congratulations to everyone who participated and thank you for all the amazing submissions.
The bookmarks will be printed and available in libraries soon! Be sure to pick one up and spread the love.
