Looking for grants or scholarships for yourself or your community group? Generosity NZ is the largest digital search facility for funding information in Aotearoa. You can use Generosity NZ's online platform to search for billions of dollars worth of opportunities - scholarships, grants and awards for individuals (using givME), and businesses, schools, community groups and clubs (using givUS). 

We provide or administer a range of funding options to help support local projects and events to promote community wellbeing. We can also point you in the right direction of other external funders, either locally or nationally.

Council's Grants Policy provides an overview of the various grants that Council and Community Boards administer and the principles and objectives which underpin our funding activities. Grant applications should demonstrate that they meet the criteria set out in the policy and support at least one of the four aspects of community well-being.
