The QLDC Libraries Summer Reading Challenge is back! Prevent the 'summer slide' and keep on reading this summer.
This summer's challenge is a reading BINGO activity where participants complete their entry cards and hand them in to be in the draw for a number of grand prizes. The local community has jumped on board and donated some amazing items, so be sure to follow @qtlakeslibraries on Facebook to catch our prize reveals!
We want every student in the district to have the opportunity to win these prizes, so schools in the Wakatipu and Upper Clutha communities will be individually distributing these cards in class before the end of term. You can also download the BINGO cards to print at home.
Primary School Card High School Card
Completed BINGO cards must be handed in to library staff by closing hours on Saturday 1st February. Alternatively, cards can be scanned or photographed and emailed to email@example.com until midnight that same day.
A big thank you to our local schools - this collaboration between schools and libraries is integral and we are here to support all the hard work that you do for our youth and future leaders!
We'd also like to acknowledge the very generous support of our sponsors below - you guys rock! A full list of prizes will be posted after they are revealed.
*Please note this competition is open all primary and secondary school students including homeschoolers. Younger siblings can do the challenge but unfortunately will not be eligible for prizes.
