Matariki is the name of a distant group of stars visible in our night sky for much, but not all of the year. When they reappear in the dawn sky some time during June or July, they signal the start of Maori New Year. Come and join us as we celebrate the Matariki, with stories read by a special guest reader, crafts and hot chocolate..
