Digital Classes @ Hāwea

What are Digital Classes?

Libraries have partnered with Digital Inclusion Alliance Aotearoa (DIAA) to provide our community with Stepping Up digital classes. There are over 40 courses that we can provide ranging from topics such as Computer Basics, Smartphone, Microsoft Word, Ancestry.com, Photobooks and more!

Hāwea Digital Classes Schedule - 10:30am-12:30pm:

  • Wednesday 25th May – Appy Seniors (learn about apps that are good for seniors)

Bookings are essential as spaces are limited. Talk with your local librarian or phone Wānaka Library (03) 443 0410.

What do I need to bring?

  • You're welcome to bring your own device or to use one of ours. We have Chromebooks and laptops.
  • A note book and pen
  • Anything your course manager has specified you bring

Where are the sessions held?

We are running these courses at the Lake Hāwea Community Centre. This allows extra space so we are able to socially distance.

Important Information

  • We will be using our P2 masks, hand sanitiser and keeping social distance where possible.
  • Please bring a mask (or exemption card).
  • We ask you to keep your mask on and can provide a surgical mask if needed.
