CASH FOR CANS FINES AMNESTY
Oops! Have you got some library fines? Don't worry - it happens to the best of us!
Central Otago Libraries want to spread some seasonal cheer and remove those fines for you, so we came up with a plan:
Bring a can of food to the counter at Alexandra, Clyde, Cromwell, Maniototo, Millers Flat, Omakau or Roxburgh Library, let us know it's part of the Cash For Cans amnesty and we will waive $5 from your fines*! If you owe more than $5 in fines, no worries! For each and every can of food you bring in we will happily waive a further $5 in fines.
All items will be donated to your local food bank, to help your local community.
Our Cash for Cans amnesty runs 1 December until 24 December, 2019.
*Please note: the amnesty does not include the cost of lost items and processing fees.
