Notice of Change to Allied Press Titles on PressReader to Selected Libraries
Changes are coming in the digital distribution of content provided by Allied Press in selected New Zealand libraries. Effective September 18th 2021, PressReader users will be able to access Allied Press content only through the PressReader website ‘on-site’ at the library. Allied Press content will no longer be available to users via the PressReader app, while onsite, or offsite, when accessing it via a selected New Zealand library. All Allied Press titles will remain available for consumption on library premises without interruption through the PressReader website, (www.pressreader.com) either on library or personal computers, authenticated through a library card or Wi-Fi connection (PressReader Hotspot). This change reflects the publisher’s wish to maintain consumption of their titles on the library site, while still maintaining full free public access of all their content while at the library.
Please note this change ONLY impacts Allied Press Ltd newspapers and magazines, and all other titles are fully available as normal through both the website and app.
